This study strived to describe the nature of the English oral communication barriers that encounter employees. Besides, it examined the used communication strategies to overcome such barriers and to improve employees own English oral performances, increase their employment options, enhance their subsequent professional competence, and improve their own personal effectiveness. To meet these aims, the research approach adopted for this study was triangulation based on questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews. This study was conducted with twenty eight employees working in Purchasing and Management Departments within two Electronics Companies. The findings indicated that employees were facing serious problems in terms of English oral communication. Besides, the results revealed that employees attempted to employ different communication strategies in order to enhance their English oral communication performance. And for the purpose of extending the research scope into the social and cognitive dimensions, we went further through firstly analyzing the learners' interactive contexts using the Interaction Analysis method to investigate the existence and the frequency of the speech functions that might account for this effectiveness; and secondly the introspective method through exploring the effect of that interactive context on the involvement extent of some of the cognitive processes underlying grammar learning. The obtained results indicated that learner's cooperative work had a positive effect n EFL learners' grammar achievement; and that the smaller the group the more efficient in the learners' interaction. Additionally, the group work impacted the extent of some of the cognitive abilities involvement depending on many factors. The main thrust of this study is to unfold the kind of problems generated from integrating ICTs, mainly writing check and translation software, in business English writing. The study is motivated also by eliciting workers perceptions about the extent to which translation and writing check software would suffice their business English writing needs and therefore could substitute taking business English courses. A descriptive survey was conducted to collect data from a number of workers in the purchasing and manufacturing departments in four different electronics SMEs. Descriptive data depicted that using writing check and translation software in business English writing does not entirely suffice workers writing needs i.e, it is not enough to depend on such software alone to do the job appropriately. Therefore, those software cannot substitute taking business English courses. The results of this study would be of great consideration and might serve as database for future software development for specific business writing.
