The subject of the study examines fifteen sample English Business Letters written by Algerian business people. This work is divided into four chapters. The first one deals with the importance of English language as an international language and as Lingua Franca with specific emphasis is put on ESP, its characteristics and emergence. Chapter two is devoted to the importance of business communication and business letters. Chapter three is an interpretation of the questionnaire and the analysis of some business letters collected from Intermat company.
