خلاصة : This thesis consists of two main parts , the first one deals with the prediction and stability of limit cycles in SISO relay systems , these limit cycles can be either symmetric or asymmetric , the second part investigates chaos in autonomous relay systems The prediction of limit cycles is based on a method originally due to tsypkin ,their stability is assessed using a n exact criterion that has been extended to the asymmetric case , accordingly , a variety of asymmetric relay types as well as systems driven by constant forcing signals have been included It has been necessary to implement theses methods in a combined combined computer program apart from finding limit cycle solutions and assessing their stability , the relay input wave forms are available , they are important as they indicate whether the solution is valid Relay system have been chosen as the topic of the second part because theire orbital stability can be assessed using an exaxt criterion , more importantly , the appropriate initial conditions for simulation of the periodic orbits can be evaluated , this enabled us to locate the limit cycles with respect to the chaotic regions , and therefore classify three types of chaos as for as the time domain is concerned , finally , a method for predicting this phenomenon in theses systems has been conjectured Limit cycles and chaotic motion in relay systems [نص مطبوع ] / AMRANI DJAMEL, مؤلف . - [s.d.] . - 106p : tab,fig ; 21*30 cm.
