حاول هذا البحث الوقوف عند قضيتين محوريتين، عماد مشروع جورج طرابيشي النقدي للعقل الإسلامي ألا وهما نفي حجية السنة النبوية، ونفي عالمية الرسالة الإسلامية، وذلك بغية النظر في مدى التزام الناقد بالموضوعية والدقة العلمية فيما ابتدعه من قراءة تجديدية تقطع مع السائد من القراءات التراثية للتراث.
ومن أهم ما توصل إليه البحث أنّ طرابيشي قد حاد في كثير من المواضع عن المنهجية العلمية في قراءته للتراث الذي انقسم وفق إبستمولوجيته إلى جزئين: جزء سنّي لاعقلاني وآخر اعتزالي عقلاني.

This research aspires to investigate two key issues that establish the foundation of Georges Tarabichi's critical project focusing on the Islamic intellect: denying the legitimacy of the Prophetic Sunnah as well as rejecting the global applicability of the Islamic message. The objective is to scrutinise the degree to which the critic conformed to scientific rigor and objectivity in his reinvented innovative interpretation, which diverges from the traditional interpretations of the Islamic heritage.
Among the key conclusions of this study is that, in numerous instances, Tarabichi failed to adhere to the scientific methodology in his interpretation of the Islamic heritage. Reflecting his epistemology, he classified this heritage into two separate categories: an irrational Sunni heritage and a rational Mu'tazilite heritage. |
